Fill A Fire Engine Appeal - West Midlands Fire Service

Coundon Courts 2024 festive jumper day worked in partnership with West Midland Fire Service with their Fill A Fire Engine appeal. The firefighters who collected the toys were so thankful for the generous donation that they will deliver to Coventry Children's Hospital on the 23rd of December to spread some Christmas joy to poorly children.

Some of our lucky students had a great time loading the fire engines and checking out the equipment on board the units. They were even treated to a sound and light show on their departure.

 This was all possible thanks to the kindness our wonderful community has shown to such a deserving cause is overwhelming.

Whilst here they told us about the Fire Cadets. They provide young people aged 11-16 with the opportunity to develop their skills and coordination through training and discipline. They meet on a  Tuesday at  Coventry Fire Station and Foleshill fire station (SEND) 6:30-9pm or Binley FireStation on a Thursday 6:30-9pm.
